This home is a one story rambler, with ramp access and a bathroom with roll-in shower on mail level. It has two small finished bedrooms, bathroom with shower, laundry and office in lower/basement level. It is located in the middle of a residential block, in a large residential area. The Garage is set back and detached from the home. There's a back yard deck, accessible through dining room patio doors. There is an accessible van to provide access to the community. The home is located within blocks of Portland Avenue, Interstate 494 and American Boulevard, for easy access to a variety of community resources: pharmacies, medical providers, shopping, library, churches, restaurants and community events.

Two people in this home are retired and enjoy the slower pace of life, by putting together puzzles, listening to favorite music on CDs and vinyl, and watching older TV programs. They also enjoy shopping for their favorite things, eating out at their favorite places, and going to plays. One person loves cats and occasionally visits the Cat Café; and also enjoys the occasional cat visitor to the home. This same person also enjoys participating in small cabin trips. Another person in the home works during the day, and enjoys participating in community activities and Special Olympic recreation.
