The "Barrington Site" is a: 24hrs Customized living. AHC is licensed by the MDH, holding a comprehensive license, and housing with services license. The Barrington site is located in the Edinburgh Golf Course Community, located in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is a spacious 2100sq ft. Tri-level split home with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths; new appliances, wood floor throughout the home and it’s fully furnished. Walkout from the living room to a large back yard. Minutes away from Edinburgh Festival Center, known for great restaurants, and shopping. 4 mins drive from Topgolf. Located in a golf community, The Barrington site home has lots of bike and walking trails. The Barrington site is also close to other shopping centers, recreational parks, city hall/council, post office, transit station, churches, gas stations, and bowling center. Our qualified team/staff and strong clinical skills provide a positive atmosphere and motivate each client to improve their cognitive, physical, and social well-being. Each client is encouraged to work toward goals and outcomes that maximize their independence. Services Provided included but not limited to: Housekeeping, laundry, cook home meals, shopping, transportation, 1:1 socialization, ADL's assistance , medication/treatment management , clinical monitoring, substance abuse management, mental health management, and much more In-Home activities include : -Art and craft, online acrylic painting classes ( all paintings supplies are provided by AHC) -Pool table -Air hockey -foosball -Basketball - Board games

AHC Register Nurse is at site 2 times a week and as needed. AHC also has on-call nursing. Physical accommodations are base on the needs of individual clients. AHC works with both the client and their team to make this possible. AHC works with clients who are non-compliance with medication, treatments, appointments, and ADL's. AHC staff have dealt with and are well trained in managing mental health behaviors.

Challenging Behaviors: Self Injurious, Verbal Aggression, Physical Aggression, Property Destruction, Elopement, Undesirable Sexual Behaviors, Alcohol / Chemical Dependency, Emergency Use of Controlled Procedure, Positive Support Transition Plan
