Additional Notes and Information:
My home is located on 5 acres right outside city limits of Little Falls. This home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is 1755 square feet. The home is all one level. There are 3 entrances into the home. With each individual having their own room, along with the common areas, it allows space for privacy and engagement. There is a deck in the front of the home. There is a short walkway from the parking area to the home and is kept free of debris and snow/ice. The house has been inspected and approved for all building and fire codes. The bedrooms and common areas are equipped with fire alarms that are strobe lights that are ADA compliant for individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing. The bedrooms each have a doorbell with a flashing light on the inside. lssmn.org/hosthomes

Nursing Support:
Additional Notes and Information:
I want to provide a home where Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals are able to communicate in their native language. I don’t want them to suffer in a world that does not offer full access to communication. I feel that I can understand some of the frustrations and barriers that you may have faced in the past and want to help you live in an environment that has open communication and support. I can also help you find resources that you may need. I currently reside in the home with my daughter. I hope you will consider this your home too. I would like to invite you to participate in family gatherings and in daily living. I enjoy going to events that involve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. I like to go on vacation at least once a year to various locations, and I usually go with my daughter and mother. I like trying new recipes and working in the yard. Once a month, we host our mostly Deaf game night. I also enjoy hosting Vikings football potlucks!
