Unique Home Setting: Beautiful and spacious home in Champlin located at the end of a cul-de-sac with fenced yard near public parks and shopping. Easy access to 610 and 169. Home is in Hennepin County. This home includes 24/7 supportive staffing with night staff. Our Ideal Roommate: 1. Is ambulatory and able to navigate stairs. 2. Enjoys group activities and being social with others. 3. Likes to go out into the community. 4. Is comfortable with housemates of differing abilities and needs. 5. Is single and doesn’t smoke or drink. 6. Is able to maintain safe boundaries with peers and respond to staff directions. 7. Can participate in household chores with staff support. 8. Goes to bed by 10:00 on weekdays and sleeps through the night. 9. Must have DD waiver for services 10. Must have SSI or SSDI, food stamps or private funds to pay rent and food 11. Is either employed or attending a Day Program M-F 12. Has parents or guardians who are willing to participate in the IHO model. Special Interests: We welcome a variety of interests. Current housemates like socialization, community activities, trains, board games, drums, music, movies, sports, bowling, Special Olympics, being active as well as personal space and time in their own room.
