Fraser Supportive Living has spaces in four apartment buildings around the Twin Cities Metro. Supportive Living apartments are for adults with developmental disabilities who can live more independently. The residents should be comfortable spending time alone, know how to react in an emergency and shouldn’t display aggressive behavior. The apartment complexes may include some amenities like in-unit laundry, workout equipment, a pool table and a swimming pool. The buildings aren’t exclusively for Fraser residents, so there are opportunities to meet and socialize with new people. Roommate opportunities are also available. Each Supportive Living apartment building has a coordinator on-site who supervises and trains other staff. Residents receive care in their apartments. The staff provides personal care assistance as needed. They can help with medication, cooking and budgeting. Fraser staff also help residents reach personal goals and participate in events in the community. Fraser provides overnight staff, and there is on-call emergency assistance. Rent and utilities are typically paid through a combination of tenant wages, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Minnesota Supplemental Aid (MSA) housing assistance. The Development Disability Waiver program also pays for services at the Supportive Living homes.

This is an apartment program in a fully integrated apartment complex. There are other individuals living onsite, in one or two bedroom apartments, which would be located near this apartment. Staff provides SLS services to clients and has a one-bedroom staff apartment that operates as an office/hub for the program. Current openings are for 2 individuals to share a 2 bedroom apartment at our Parkside North location in Plymouth.

Parkside North is located in a quiet residential area of Plymouth, MN, 10 miles west of Minneapolis, with easy access to many shops and restaurants. Parkside North offers a gym, sauna and business center/community room.
