Additional Notes and Information:
The house supports two women and one man. All three are verbal, two of whom use limited language but they are all adept at receptive language. One person is ambulatory and the others use wheelchairs. Two people can yell when angry; one is not patient with delays, the other is moody. One will swing at staff (kind of slowly, so he doesn't hurt anyone), but never peers, and also self injures occasionally but doesn't cause tissue damage. The other is lonely, and longs for someone to play games with, talk to, and go out into the community with. The third client is very patient, and defers her own cares while waiting quietly in her room to ensure peace in the house. This client has a brain injury, and loves to read poetry. A quiet housemate may connect with this person. A client who is deaf or hard of hearing might be nice. We can take someone with a CPAP, sliding scale diabetes or other medical needs. We do range-of-motion, positioning, standing frames and other medical care.

Challenging Behaviors: Self Injurious, Verbal Aggression
Additional Notes and Information:
We use standers and wheelchairs in the house and a hoyer lift. We do need the person to share in the cost of the overnight awake plus asleep costs. We have both due to medical needs.
